Jahryssa S'tal was one of three bodyguards for Arthur Bishop. The daughter of a prominent Mistryl Shadow Guard, she was also the adopted sister of Selene S'tal.
Jahryssa followed in the footsteps of her mother, Estalla, and became a Shadow Guard, working for the Mistryl Council on Emberlene. Operating in a small group, Jahryssa would eventually encounter the philanthropist Arthur Bishop while working in the Colonies Region. Due to the business relationship that Bishop formed with some of the Mistryls, Jahryssa was assigned to him to act as a bodyguard for the wealthy man. Over time, Jahryssa began to respect Arthur for his deeds and actions and pledged to remain by his side, even after she was offered a different assignment. Together with her fellow Shadow Guard, Sersi M'ryi, Jahryssa teamed with Jacen Tybalt to provide security and protection for Bishop and his interests.
