The Savant-class Corvette served in the Rotronian Security Fleet during the Rotronian/Drak Conflicts. After the Galactic Empire brought an end to the Conflicts, the vessel mainly served as a customs ship. Several of the ships have been purchased by some of the major systems of the Manchi Sector to serve as customs and system patrol.


The vessel was a long, sleek craft with a pair of hanger pylons on each side of the ship. It was powered by two ion engines. Like all Rotronian vessels of it's era, the Savant-class corvette's lasers had a higher damage output than the galactic standard but at a cost of decreased range.

The Savant-class corvette was manufactured by Ratar Engineering of the Rotex shipyards. While labeled a corvette by the Rotronians, the vessel would be more accurately described as a heavy cruiser.
