Ibera was a planet in the Inner Rim territories which was colonized during the expansion period around 4500 BBY. Located in the Western Reaches of the Inner Rim, Ibera was considered rather remote by some galactic standards.
Ibera was primarily an agricultural world, exporting foodstuffs throughout the galaxy. Ibera's growing conditions allowed it to produce most typical crops and allowed for livestock production without much modification to the animals or the climate/geology/flora.
Following the Clone Wars, Ibera was quietly added into the Galactic Empire. Without much strategic significance, Ibera was left alone and managed to remain out of the watchful eyes of the Empire. In late 3 ABY, Ibera would officially join the rebellion against the Galactic Empire by siding the with the Antrixian Resistance forces. By the end of 3 ABY, Ibera would be liberated from any Imperial control and had formed an alliance with the exiled Antrixian nobility. In 6 ABY, Ibera was one of first worlds that would join the Antrixian Commonwealth as one of the first human worlds to become a protectorate of the Commonwealth and later a full-fledged member world.
