Skills are used by characters in a role-playing game to acheive actions such as shooting weapons, operating a vehicle, or knowing what species a 7-foot tall, brown, hairy alien is. Specialization skills are marked by a (S) before the base skill and the specialization skill name. Example: Blaster: Heavy Blaster Pistol or Space Transports: YT-1300 Light Freighter. Advanced skills, such as Surgery and Medicine are marked by a (A) before the skill name.
